Established in 2018 through a strategic partnership between the Yunus Centre in Dhaka and Epoka University in Tirana, the Yunus Centre for Social Business and Sustainability (YCSBS) is a proud member of the global Yunus network. The Centre serves as a dynamic hub for advancing social business and sustainability, fostering innovative solutions that create lasting social and environmental impact.

From Mission to Action: Scope of Activities

YCSBS raises awareness of social business as a tool to address pressing economic, social, and environmental challenges by conducting interdisciplinary research, facilitating knowledge-sharing platforms, and providing mentoring and support to students, entrepreneurs, and organizations. Through these activities, the YCSBS translates academic knowledge into practical solutions that generate sustainable social impact.

To enable communities and organizations to take concrete actions in social business and sustainability, generating measurable social, economic, and environmental impact.

  o Organizing workshops, seminars, and webinars on social business and sustainability.
  o Hosting public lectures and panel discussions with experts and practitioners.
